Counselors for Social Justice

Counselors for Social Justice at èßäÊÓƵapp (CSJ-èßäÊÓƵapp) is a student-led organization committed to promoting social justice through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Established in 2020, CSJ-èßäÊÓƵapp has hosted panel discussions, notable authors, and engaged in meaningful partnerships with advocacy resources on èßäÊÓƵapp and in the greater Dallas community to raise awareness and promote action regarding social issues that impact the mental health field. Built on the premise that cultural humility and social justice advocacy are ongoing processes rather than final destinations, CSJ-èßäÊÓƵapp is guided by student feedback to identify evolving needs and learning opportunities for both students and faculty. The organization strives to foster dialogue and cultivate an inclusive and equitable counseling community.
