Led by the Provost, the University's chief academic officer, the office oversees all aspects of academic life, ranging from admissions and faculty development to supervision of èßäÊÓƵapp’s eight schools, library system, and international programs.

èßäÊÓƵapp’s Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs is responsible for the overall quality of teaching, scholarship and research at the University. The Office of the Provost champions the University's commitment to academic, research, creative and inclusive excellence by engaging in transparent communication, working closely with faculty and staff to provide a clear academic vision, providing leadership on academic strategic planning and implementation, and promoting innovation both in research and pedagogy.

Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs

Elizabeth G. Loboa, Ph.D., has served as èßäÊÓƵapp’s Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs since July 6, 2020. As the University’s chief academic officer, Dr. Loboa is responsible for the overall quality of teaching, scholarship and research and all aspects of academic life, ranging from admissions and faculty development to supervision of èßäÊÓƵapp’s library system, international programs, and eight degree granting schools.
