Biography
A Chicago native, Cassina Scuefield has always had a passion for the arts. She grew up admiring the artistic nature of the Windy City with its colorful graffiti, architecture, and subway crooners, while dabbling in photography and open mic nights as a teen and young adult. She took that passion with her to Western Illinois University, where she earned her B.A. in journalism with minors in broadcasting and Spanish.
Cassina began her career in marketing at Eastern Michigan University (EMU) as a Marketing Associate II where she managed a three-person team responsible for comprehensive marketing services (special events, editorial services, design, writing and editing) to University-wide clientele. After four years at EMU, Cassina moved home to Chicago for her next opportunity as an independent marketing consultant, which expanded her expertise in strategic planning, public relations, advertising and sales, and for-profit education.
After relocating to Dallas, she joined the Meadows School of the Arts marketing team as a project manager in 2015. An active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Cassina enjoys working on projects that give back to the community. In her spare time, she enjoys running races around the world, spending time with her family, boot camp workouts, karaoke and the theatre.
