Grand Atrium
The naturally lit, glass-filled Gene and Jerry Jones Grand Atrium provides an intriguing visual backdrop for various performances and events, both formal and informal. Located at the Bishop Boulevard entrance to the Owen Arts Center, the atrium offers access to performing arts spaces like Caruth Auditorium and the Bob Hope Theatre, as well as gallery spaces like the Jordan Student Gallery and the Meadows Foundation Gallery.
The Gene and Jerry Jones Grand Atrium was part of the recent renovation of the Owen Arts Center in 2022. In addition to hosting a variety of performances and events, the space also holds a striking, specially commissioned chandelier art piece from Italy to welcome visitors and inspire artists. The chandelier is a 28-series pendant independently fabricated through a complex glass blowing technique and nestled together to create a unique and dynamic pattern.
