The Mustang Band performs at athletic and special events throughout the year for Southern Methodist University. We serve as the heartbeat of school spirit at all home football and basketball games, and annually produce Pigskin Revue as part of Homecoming Festivities. Known for our unique jazz sound and style, the Mustang Band offers an experience unlike any other for members and audiences alike!

Pigskin Revue
Started in 1933, Pigskin Revue is the longest running tradition at Southern Methodist University. It is a variety show that features acts from groups all over èßäÊÓƵapp, including current students, faculty, and alumni.
Peruna
Debuting in 1932, Peruna is the official mascot of èßäÊÓƵapp. Learn the history of Peruna and meet all nine black Shetland ponies that have filled this role.
