About DCII
The Dedman College Interdisciplinary Institute (DCII) provides a platform for collaboration and the exchange of ideas across academic disciplines, helping to forge connections between the physical sciences, social sciences, and humanities; between Dedman College and èßäÊÓƵapp’s professional schools; and between academia and the broader community.
Serving as a dynamic center for intellectual life within Dedman College and at èßäÊÓƵapp, the DCII brings together faculty, students, and members of the DFW community by sponsoring research initiatives, student fellowships, and lecture series. Through these programs, the DCII promotes a culture of interdisciplinary problem-solving and knowledge creation to meet the world’s increasingly complex needs and challenges.
