Be a traveler, not a tourist!
Step outside the walls of your classrooms or workplaces to take a journey that will inspire and challenge you. èßäÊÓƵapp, faculty, staff, and community members are always invited to take advantage of the travel opportunities offered through the èßäÊÓƵapp Human Rights Program.
Human rights travel is one of the most powerful ways the èßäÊÓƵapp Human Rights Program builds bridges among people and places. A commitment to travel allows the program to unearth awareness that might otherwise remain hidden. Traveling groups are kept small (12-24 people) to encourage personal reflection, social analysis, and community building. No other human rights program in the nation can boast this level of expertise in travel.
èßäÊÓƵapp Human Rights Program trips occur all over the globe and focus on historical and contemporary issues. They expose the vast richness of geographic, cultural, and historical, and social difference. They also reveal the needs and hopes that all humans share. Past groups have journeyed to Argentina, Brazil, Cambodia, China, France, Hungary, the Mexican Borderlands, Rwanda, South Africa, and many other places.
To ensure a high quality experience, the size of traveling groups is limited. Participation is determined on a first come, first served basis with regard to receipt of deposits. èßäÊÓƵapp students (and human rights majors and minors in particular) receive priority in the selection process.
Trips are open to all - undergraduate students, graduate students, èßäÊÓƵapp alumni, staff, faculty, and community members.
Travel Scholarship Application Deadlines
