Graduation Year: 2011
During my time at èßäÊÓƵapp, I studied abroad for a summer in Cannes (èßäÊÓƵapp-in-South of France), two summers in Moscow (èßäÊÓƵapp-in-Moscow), and a semester abroad in Paris (èßäÊÓƵapp-in-Paris). After graduation, I attended law school at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Through an international dual law degree program, I spent my last two years of law school at Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Defense, where I obtained my French law degrees in addition to a J.D. I currently work as a lawyer in Paris and am qualified to practice law in both the U.S. and France.
During one of my summers during law school, I spent a third summer in Moscow to study Russian language independently. I passed the State-administered Test of Russian as a Foreign Language at an advanced level, which attests to the degree of language proficiency required to pursue professional work in Russia.
Thanks to the quality of the language instruction I received in the French and Russian departments, I have been able to pursue advanced degrees in a foreign language and live and work abroad in a foreign environment.
