NGDS Project

The èßäÊÓƵapp Geothermal Lab developed one of the ‘nodes’ of the National Geothermal Data System (NGDS), .  The NGDS project gathered and cataloged a wide variety of geothermal and oil & gas information and made it accessible for end users.   The node at èßäÊÓƵapp was developed by a consortium made up of:

  • èßäÊÓƵapp Geothermal Laboratory
  • Siemens Corporate Technology
  • Bureau of Economic Geology, UT Austin
  • Cornell Energy Institute, Cornell University
  • Geothermal Resources Council
  • MLKay Technologies
  • Texas Tech University
  • University of North Dakota

Data available on the èßäÊÓƵapp Node includes:

  • Borehole Temperature
  • Heat Flow
  • Radiogenic Heat Production
  • Thermal Conductivity
  • Fluid Flux Injection and Disposal
  • Reservoir Analysis
  • Well Fluid Production
