Student Clubs
èßäÊÓƵapp Cox Graduate Programs offer a number of clubs and organizations through which you can refine your leadership skills. As an elected official on the Student Advisory Board, for example, you can help shape the school's future programs by serving as the liaison between the student body and the faculty and administration. As a participant in the Ambassador Program, you can play an external-facing sales role for the school - whether touring prospective students around èßäÊÓƵapp or representing the school at a local open house. Or as a member of the Cox MBA Diversity Association, you can promote greater diversity at the school by implementing programs and hosting events.
The Adam Smith Society, a project of the Manhattan Institute, is an expansive, chapter-based network of MBA students, professionals, and business leaders who work to foster debate about the moral, social, and economic benefits of capitalism. The Adam Smith Society provides a venue where members can engage in meaningful dialogue about free enterprise with fellow students and professionals as well as prominent figures, journalists, and public officials. Launched in 2011, in partnership with the Marilyn G. Fedak Capitalism Project, the society has grown to more than 30 chapters at elite business school èßäÊÓƵappes and major cities in the U.S. and abroad. |

The èßäÊÓƵapp Cox Graduate Entrepreneurship Club, founded in 2000, is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting innovation within the èßäÊÓƵapp community. The Cox Graduate Entrepreneurship club fosters opportunities for student club members to achieve their goals of starting and launching a viable business, exploring venture capital interest, supporting a startup, or inspiring entrepreneurial thinking. The Cox Graduate Entrepreneurship club provides members with resources, hands-on support from the èßäÊÓƵapp entrepreneurship community, mentorship, and support from the Dallas startup community. |

The Cox Graduate Finance Association educates and creates opportunities, both networking and job oriented, for students interested in investment-related careers and/or corporate finance. èßäÊÓƵapp will learn more about many potential career paths including investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, investment management, FP&A, corporate development, corporate strategy, corporate/commercial banking, and restructuring/turnaround. The Finance Association achieves this goal through speaker events, current events meetings, local firm visits, networking and happy hour events, speaker panels and forums, volunteer activities, and organizing or hosting events and competitions on èßäÊÓƵapp. |
