Dallas 100™ Applauds North Texas Entrepreneurial Strength Through Pandemic MTX Group Named Area’s Fastest-Growing Entrepreneurial Company
Frisco-based cloud technology company MTX Group is the fastest-growing entrepreneurial company in the Dallas area, according to the èßäÊÓƵapp Cox School of Business’s Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. The company and all 100 companies honored in this year’s event managed to achieve impressive growth, especially in light of the challenges of the pandemic. The Institute’s annual Dallas 100â„¢, a celebration of the fastest-growing, privately held businesses in the Dallas area, revealed the area’s top entrepreneurial companies in rank order from 100 to one at the annual Dallas 100 Awards Ceremony, held at the Omni Dallas Hotel, Thursday, Nov. 18.
Dallas (èßäÊÓƵapp) Nov. 18, 2021 – Frisco-based cloud technology company MTX Group is the fastest-growing entrepreneurial company in the Dallas area, according to the èßäÊÓƵapp Cox School of Business’s Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. The company and all 100 companies honored in this year’s event managed to achieve impressive growth, especially in light of the challenges of the pandemic. The Institute’s annual Dallas 100™, a celebration of the fastest-growing, privately held businesses in the Dallas area, revealed the area’s top entrepreneurial companies in rank order from 100 to one at the annual Dallas 100 Awards Ceremony, held at the Omni Dallas Hotel, Thursday, Nov. 18.
“To rank as the top company this year, MTX Group’s sales increased more than 2000% over the last three years,” said Simon Mak, the Linda A. and Kenneth R. Morris Endowed Director of the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. “That accomplishment would be impressive any time, but in the years that included COVID-19, it is phenomenal. Even more impressive, the combined sales of all the top 10 companies in this year’s 100 grew just over 400 percent over three years. The winners of this year’s Dallas 100 deserve special congratulations not only for their growth and perseverance, but especially for their contributions to keeping our local economy strong.”
The Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship ranks the area’s top 100 entrepreneurial companies based on percentage growth and absolute dollar growth over the previous three years, emphasizing their economic contributions to the Dallas area economy. Factoring all 100 companies together, this year’s 100 companies generated over $8.5 billion in revenue over the past three years. The winners represent a broad spectrum of Dallas-area businesses.
The Caruth Institute, working with the accounting firm BKD, LLP examined sales from hundreds of companies for 2018 to 2020, the last year for which complete data is available. The winners represent Dallas and 18 surrounding cities. This year’s Dallas 100 program sponsors, in alphabetical order, are: BKD LLP CPAs and Advisors, Bluecrest Financial Alliances, Dallas Business Journal, Executive Press, JLL, KRLD NewsRadio 1080, MarketScale, Texas Capital Bank and USI.
The top 10 fastest-growing DFW companies in 2021 were given special recognition at the event. Listed in rank order, these companies include MTX Group Inc, Frisco; Highlands Residential Mortgage, Dallas; Gordon Highlander, Dallas; Glorious LLC, Dallas; Solo Stove, Southlake; Aligned, Plano; The Crowther Group, Dallas; SMC Squared, Dallas; Scout & Cellar, Farmers Branch; and Portable Solar LLC (dba Sol-Ark), Parker.
